We Should Hang Out More have been throwing some of Glasgow’s finest parties for almost a decade. Residents in the world famous Sub Club and Glasgow’s Berkeley Suite, WSHOM have hosted illustrious names like Honey Dijon, Folamour, Dan Shake and Tiger & Woods to name but a tiny few. They are known throughout Scotland for raw, energy driven sets that cause taps to come aff and sweat to drip from the ceiling.
In 2019 they found themselves the subject of a MixMag feature on the Glasgow after hours party scene, being the residents in Glasgow’s largest illicit after party solidifying their reputation as dons of Glasgow’s infamous illegal rave scene. Almost guaranteed to be on any Scottish festival lineup, We Should Hang Out More have been growing in stature since their debut EP was awarded 9/10 in MixMag, in 2020 a WSHOM track was named by Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 as being in the Top 10 for the year. Since then they’ve released 5 EPs on a host of labels with a forthcoming 4 track EP on Rinse FM’s La La’s fresh imprint ‘Brand New Records’ due for release by the end of 2021. This EP boasts remixes from Man Power and 1-800 Girls and more. Named by The List Magazine as number 19 on their Hot 100 for creative talent in Scotland along with Auntie Flo and Lewis Capaldi, We Should Hang Out More’s reputation refuses to stop growing. With the launch of their new imprint ‘In The Event of Capture’ in 2021 containing a bunch of unearthed musical gems, the future is bright.
